Been informed that the header.jpg pic doesn’t show in Opera and Firefox so you hamsters that are using those and not IE will have to live with it till I have it fixed.

 I gave Chiaki a facejob and a xmas hat as an early xmas gift to my blog =) 

I always always always bugged out when I saw Chiaki’s nose. So I kept on editing it whenever I felt like it. The picture that’s the header of your own blog (etc) shouldn’t bug you. At ALL. Because others will see it!

So there you go, new version!

Are you feeling busy?

Feel the stress. I have so much to do It’s actually overloading my head.

• 7 days left till I leave for Stockholm and Distant Worlds. My Cosplay IS NOT DONE. FRET? Yes please! However the gift I made for Uematsu is done… glad to have that out of my way.
• Xmas is coming up and I have this years Xmas art in my head wanting to come out; whenever I’m trying to arrange other stuff. I want to work on it sooo much cause I love the idea. And I hate not beeing able to drawn when I feel like it because I actually have tons of stuff to take care of. This year I’m going to color it the usual cg way, the print at school, cut out and paste on some pretty handcrafted cards. It sounds like so much fun when I think about it (which I do too often!) However I’ll have to limit my cards this year due to the fact it costs me alot of money to just ship the buggers.
• I’m asked to hold a How to Draw Manga course 2008. Ofc the drawing part isn’t a problem but the ways of building up a good plan is. I sent a few emails out to some well known swedish people hoping they can enlighten me how to build a workable schedule but I have this feeling that they’re all going to be very busy hence seeing my e-mail as a trashbin object. Let’s hope for the better anyway~!
• Need to finish my mothers Xmas gift. Stupid town not selling any white feathers =(. Have to grab some in Stockholm during my visit.
• Also need to meet up with the Skeå gang. Looks like it’s going to be in Piteå now at Simon’s place… and 14-16th Dec.

So much turning around…

More art.

Due to school I feel to stressed and tired to work on actuall cg paintings like I’ve tried to so hard this year. Lately I’ve been more and mroe encouraged to also showcase stuff that’s maybe not so colored and painted but perhaps a bit more relate’able. I’ve been taking a liking to work on ’sketches’ or actual pencil work lately =) It’s a nice stress relief and most of them appear to be originals since I just toy around. Sometimes I still toy around on the computer for some ‘nice’ effects. Just because I use my computer as a tool doesn’t mean I’m bad at traditional media. Anyway.

Here’s a ’sketch’ I drew some time ago of one of my lappi/saami reindeer people, and another one of a polarfox and his sibling that I finished just now =) He’s also a part of my saami universe. The polarfox is the most rare and unseen animal in Sweden so I imagen them a bit shy but sly. With their white fur hiding away from humanity and a bit secretive.  His name is Vahca which means something among the lines of First Snow of the year, but also new snow on top of the old snow. It also means fotprints in the snow… which I can imagen beeing one of the things that let’s humanity know they still excist.

WIP – Dove.

One part of a ‘bigger’ pic I’m working on. He’s sitting on graves. At first I thought of him as an angel, but I think I’ll make him into the Dove in my BIRD-series to be.  Doves always hang around graveyards. He’s looking at a young girl lying infront of the grave/s.

Going to school makes me too tired to actually finish anything… so I keep drawing these ‘linearts’ to work on later =s.
