Back from the Past.
Just came back from Skellefteå where I’ve spend a week with these chaps.
Anyways, I think going to Skellefteå to meet up with the guys (ztanz beeing the stand in for Erik, for now) was the most well spent 10 kr I have spent this year. We did absolutely everything we had in our agenda:
Shopping, cleaning, cooking food, cleaning, taking over the world, sleeping, cleaning, gaming, eating, shopping for more food, going to our fav café, watching movies, cleaning some more, going to the mental hospital and taking our nightly stroll. However, We didn’t get the chance to go to Brogrillen. Bah Humbug to that!
We really did end up cleaning alot.
And Every day we more or less made some special dinner, it was quite nice.
As written above the guys played quite a few games during the week. Simon (aka Zim) brought his Wii with Raving Rabbids (my choice!) and Wario Ware amongst other games. I am not sure which one of them is the sickest but… this certain part of the fluffbunny game just made me Owtf. You’re suppsoed to pull out the worms from the cavaties in his teeth.
The game itself seems hella fun. If I had a Wii, I’d buy it. I mean how can you resist those adoreable bunnies!? The minigames were really varying as well. Wario Ware was of course also really wtf. I didn’t expect it to be anything else but woah, it just makes you laugh and cry and god knows what. I keep wondering what exactly the devolopers of these two games had in their minds… but they can DANCE!
Speaking about dancing there was also alot of Guitar Heroes II beeing played. To the amount when you wake up to it in the morning and you just want to hit Simon in the head with the guitar. Eitherway, I wish I wasn’t such a wuss, I’d love to try it out some time.
Following traditions we fought over shinies in Zelda: Four Swords (hate that game because of the shinies! ) and played a bit Chrystal Chronicles. Since everyone and their grandchildren wanted to DPS one way or the other, I ended up remaking my Selkie boy into a Clavat girl… whom I named Elazul. Dare I say I had a OMG! moment as this popped on the screen. If you know me, you’ll know what my real mom’s name is =). Games makes me so happy some times.
And lastly, Conny brought over Haunting Ground. The game reminded me a bit of that weird weird Cult of Rose (can’t even renember it’s name, and can’t find on google…) game that Erik showed me. You run around not knowing where you are, and have a dog to help you. Whence Haunting Ground has it’s scary moments it’s not as freaked out as Silent Hill or Cult of Rose. Ofc, knowing myself I did know I’d be scared by the whole issue beeing hunted by whom ever thru the game. They say it’ll get worse later. I want to play futher! Gah!
Oh, I also got to play thru some Guild Wars. Simon lent me his account and I made a nice and fun Paladin kind of war/mnk named Valaari Swerdh. The pvp event in the beginning really took me off guard, I am not a pvper but suddenly I had to team pvp to get on with the story, good for me, my team won by big and I even enjoyed it.
Ohwell, that was the gaming part… there’s a bit more but I’ll write about that later! Now, time for sleep… without a sleeping bag.
